Press releases are another great way to add back links to your
web site. These normally require a specific format, so be sure to read the
instructions for each site.
Press releases are not only posted on the web site you submit to, but are also
picked up by other related web sites. This can make each press release
give you a large number of new back links for your web site and improve your
page rank.
However submitting to Press Release sites does take some time, once you have
created the release an easy way to get it out to a large number is by using
software. When choosing a good program it’s vital that it submits to the sites
properly, and makes sure your release gets to the right category.
One program I use that works well is
Press Equalizer. It still takes a while to set up before each release,
but it gets to the sites and enters the data automatically, saving you a lot of
time. Press Equalizer is
not free, you do have to buy the software, but the price is not too bad for the
time it saves you.
Often, software does not hit all the sites you want and at times it’s worthwhile
to pay some of the Press Release sites so that you will be more prominently
displayed, for those sites it’s best to submit by hand, otherwise I recommend
getting something to help you get the job done faster.

Of the many press release sites available I have only included those that have
given me the best results. The more you have time to send to the better, but at
least do these.
