Definition:
Also known as a “Natural Links”. No, this does not have anything to do with your vegetables. These terms refer to links to your website that you have not in any way requested. Some search engines count this type of link higher than links that you have arranged to have point to your site. An example of an organic link are the links I’ve placed on my Interesting Sites page. I was not paid to put these links on my site and there was no link trade involved.
Reciprocal and paid links are not considered of value to some search engines, although it can be very difficult for them to identify this form of link.
